Marshall Brooks began piano lessons in 2003, and quickly joined the Hazel Park Schools band program, playing the clarinet.  In 2004 he took up guitar, deciding to teach himself.  Not interested in playing other artists' music, Marshall began writing his own songs.

​

After high school Marshall joined the worship team at Berkley Community Church.  Weekly services were the perfect training ground in live performance.

Marshall continues to write music and perform around the Metro Detroit area.
